I had a Boulevard M50 for 13 days; just couldn't take the lack of power. I happily traded it in on a C109RT and have never looked back. This thing is smooth, comfortable, and fast - not that I would exceed the 55-mph speed limit, mind you ;-) From 1st to 2nd gear, the thing shifts like a truck. It's not as bad as the M109 but it's still very noticeable. But for a big bike, this thing pulls like a freight train.
It's actually kind of funny. When you look at it you wouldn't expect the performance but when you twist that throttle...look out. Please don't get me wrong, I'm not looking to chase down a Hyabusa (but then again who is?) but for a V-Twin cruiser, it scoots.
The riding position is very comfortable. The handlebar feels good. It did take a couple of days to get used to the 240mm rear tire. As mentioned in all the reviews, it felt like you fought it in the cornering. I don't even notice it now.
