I am a returning rider(25 years later)and chose the 950 touring edition because of my size, the saddle bags and its weight. I was torn between selecting a smaller bike to acquire long forgotten skills and larger frame for my size. I enjoy the 950 and in my opinion it provides excellent value for newer and returning riders. It performs and handles well in the city and on the highway and has excellent fit and finish...I have heard many compliments so far. Budget permitting, I intend to purchase a larger windscreen, padded seat and highway pegs to better fit my height.
