The V Star 950 handles with ease. It's powerful and the exhaust purrs but roars.
My only complaint is the loud mechanical noise coming from the valve train. It's normal and you'll get used to it.
Otherwise, the 950 has more than adequate power and just feels good. Don't expect your butt won't get numb after an hour or two but go ahead and spend big $$$ on a replacement seat if you like. The average mpg over 500 miles is 55+.
Upgrades/Accessories: Luggage rack. Saddle bag guards.
